“I think everything in life is art – what you do, how you dress, the way you love someone, and how you talk… your smile and personality, what you believe in, and all your dreams… the way you drink your tea, how you decorate your home, or party… your grocery list, the food you make, how your writing looks, and the way you feel. Life is art.”
¡Hola Muchachos y Muñecas!
My family calls me Reji (pronounced like “Reggie”) and you can too… I’d like to think of anyone who cares to follow the adventures of #TeamGregoire as family.
On our honeymoon we traveled to Granada, Nicaragua, and stayed at this incredible place called Hotel Con Corazon. 9 months later, our son, Diego, was born. This blog is named in part to commemorate that trip, which was life-changingly magical (and not just because of the baby making, although that was certainly a highlight). It’s also named for the adage, “Home is Where the Heart Is,” which is incredibly cliche, but bear with me. My husband is in the military and his job is relocating us to Germany, away from everyone and everything I’ve ever loved in California. It’s terrifying, moving to a continent I’ve never even visited, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned during my time as a military wife, it’s that home isn’t a place; home is wherever we’re together. My hope for this blog is that it can serve as a digital home, to gather together everyone we’ve left behind. You’re always in our hearts.
Besos, Abrazos, & California Love.
Let’s Party.
